Toni LoPresti has provided a space for self-expression through Clementine Hair Studio since 2015. From custom hair color to trimming bangs, Toni shares her mission to create a collaborative and creative space for hairstylists and clients alike.
Tell us a little bit about your business!
Clementine Hair Studio is a boutique hair salon specializing in custom color, cuts and hair extensions. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive safe space for any and all humans who walk through our door!
What inspired you to start a business? How did this feeling grow once you actually started your business?
Clementine was born from a need to create space in the hair industry for a safe, collaborative, supportive, and growth-focused spot that values client experience above all. Through the years, we've stayed true to our mission, continuously curating a dream team of stylists and clients that value great hair and an even greater love for our community. We love the feeling of being able to be a safe space for anyone to express themselves the way they want to, and being able to bring it to life through their hair is an honor. Seeing other businesses with the same values open and grow has only fueled us to continue what we're doing.
What aspect of your business makes you most proud to be a business leader in our community?
Union Square has evolved into something so beautiful since we opened. It's been an honor to grow alongside local businesses and get to know the wonderful humans who run them! It's wonderful to be able to create long-lasting relationships with community members.
How do you #LoveUnionSquare?
Walking down the street, you'll see at least one person you know. Our friendly exchanges with our postal service workers and local business owners and employees are some of our most cherished moments. It's a pleasure to see such community being created here! Shout out to Remnant Brewing in Bow Market, where we get our daily dose of caffeine!
