YUM: A Taste of Immigrant City is an annual celebration of immigrants in Somerville and their many contributions to our city.
YUM attendees can sample menu items served by immigrant-owned restaurants from around Somerville, enjoy local musical performances, and hear inspiring words from two champions of the local immigrant community, all while learning about The Welcome Project’s work with immigrants in Somerville and beyond.
The event increases visibility for immigrant-owned local businesses and raises funds for programs which benefit immigrant families in Greater Somerville through The Welcome Project.
