Join the Somerville Community Growing Center on Sundays at 11:00 AM from 1/18-2/8 for a cozy series of winter strolls exploring nature and community connections - perfect for those looking to wander and wonder!
Open to all ages, these weekly walks invite Somerville residents to enjoy fresh air, gentle movement, and wintertime connection.
Each wander will begin and end at the Somerville Community Growing Center. Participation can be tracked week to week. Routes will be mapped to prioritize the clearest, wheelchair-accessible and least icy paths, but dressing appropriately is essential for comfort and safety- hats, gloves, layers, and sturdy footwear are recommended. Reach out to the Growing Center if you do not have access to those things and they will try to connect you.
This series will be led by Phoebe Grupper (she/they) an environmental educator and ecologist from Brooklyn, NY, currently getting an MS in Sustainability at Tufts!
