GLOWBALL will transform the Armory Performance Hall into an immersive Rave created by DJ Adam Gibbons, pioneer of Afro House and Uhuru Afrika, and visual projectionist Jay Medina, all in support of The Center for Arts at the Armory. GLOWBALL is an anti-gala--there will be no speeches, presentations or auction. There will be pop-up performances by SambaViva and Sidy Maiga on djembe.
This year's honorees: Rachel Strutt, Lifetime Achievement Award; Clay Fernald, Community Arts Advocate: and Nelson Salazar, Outstanding Artist.
GLOWBALL tickets include international bites and glow in the dark accessories for guests to don. This will surely be Somerville's most illuminating party of 2025.
Can't make it to GLOWBALL but still want to support Arts at the Armory and gift a ticket to a local artist or cultural worker? There’s a ticket for that!
With all GLOWBALL tickets, you will be sent a thank you note and receipt stating that 80% of your ticket purchase is a donation to The Center for Arts at the Armory.
