In this fun family class, you’ll learn to use basic jewelry making techniques to transform a single stone and some copper sheets into a turtle sculpture sure to delight both child and parent. Each pair of students will work together to learn different techniques and how to properly use tools to form and bend metal over their chosen stone (or turtle shell). The course will demonstrate and review safety protocols so that students of any age can use tools safely while working on their projects.
This class will be taught by a mother-daughter duo: Ilana and her daughter, Molly.
