Spring is almost here! Get your feet moving with quick footwork danced to lively jigs and reels!

Local dancer Rebecca McGowan, recipient of a 2017 Artist Fellowship from the Somerville Arts Council, will provide an introduction to soft shoe Irish step and social dancing.

Step dancing is energetic, graceful, precise, and fun. Learn foundational steps including the 7s and 3s and an easy jig step, and enjoy a traditional social céilí dance. All backgrounds welcome, no experience required. Wear socks, light sneakers, or other soft-soled shoes.
