The Union Square Farmers Market is open rain or shine Saturdays, 9am-1pm at the Union Square Plaza in Somerville, MA. Join us for one of the most successful markets in the state as we enter our 20th season, happening May 11 through October 26, except September 21.

Musicians are required to carry a certificate of General Liability Insurance of up to $1,000,000
As we acknowledge that the cost of obtaining such insurance can be prohibitive to your participation in the market, we have troubleshooted different low-cost insurance options and have landed with Thimble, which will provide you the coverage needed to perform at one market day for as little as $5. Musicians are responsible for providing, setting up, and breaking down their own equipment
Musicians will be performing in the selling area of the market. As such, it is important to balance the volume of music with market activity so that vendors and customers can clearly communicate with each other
USFM is open RAIN or SHINE. Musician attendance is expected regardless of weather
