Formed in October 2014, Chameleon Culture is an experimental rock band out of Boston, MA making waves with their innovative sound and intricate lyrics. With a highly anticipated full-length album scheduled to be released in January 2016, accompanied by an eccentrically immersive live show - these old souled lizards are stirring up a storm in Boston as well as New York.
Front man Alec Gaston & guitarist Charlie Kendall have played in several bands together including Aphrolove, a futuristic soul band that Jamie Howell, (drums) & Tony Solis (bass) of Chameleon Culture played in as well alongside singer-songwriter Sterling-Rhyne Sherman. Aphrolove has had success in New York & Boston and have shared the stage with Malcolm-Jamal Warner of the Cosby show and singer-songwriter extraordinaire Ryan Scott.
Before Aphrolove, Gaston and Kendall traveled & performed with artist “Skyler” and had the privilege of opening for The Goo Goo Dolls, The Plain White-Tees and Daughtry at New Hampshire’s Meadowbrook Arena in 2014. http://www.skylertunes.com/ –
Indie Rock band Oh, Great Intentions was the first group Gaston & Kendall played in together. They only released one E.P. before disbanding in 2014 but garnered a diverse fan-base during their run as well as film scoring interest from “Far Enough For Now.” https://ohgreatintentions.bandcamp.com/ Chameleon Culture engineer/producer Aresh Banaji has been working with Gaston & Kendall since Oh, Great Intentions.
