The Green Line Extension from Lechmere to Medford with a spur
to Union Square will have a major economic impact for the
neighborhood. USMS is strongly in favor of the
creation of a T station in Union Square.
Several groups are also working on behalf of the Green Line
extension including
Somerville Transportation Equity Partnership and the
Medford Greenline Neighborhood Alliance.
