Rock. Humanity's oldest and
greatest weapon, it sat comfortably on its throne, until ~ 3500
BCE, when the Egyptians invented
Paper. This formidable weapon
allowed the ancient Egyptians to smother the rocks of their
enemies and build one of the most powerful kingdoms in the
world. Around 1500 BCE, they invented
Scissors. Their enemies had learned the secrets of paper making, and
used them against the Egyptians. Pharaoh Ahmose I used this new and
ultimate weapon to shred the paper of the Hyksos, conquering them
and ushering in the New Kingdom.
In
a twist of irony, one intrepid individual whose name has been lost
to history, found that the long abandoned Rock was able to crush the
deadly Scissors. Each weapon has a strength and a weakness, and no
one has been able to declare with any degree of finality which is
truly the most powerful.
Until now.
Come and watch as the argument is settled once and for all, or match
wits and skill with other valiant competitors; sign up begins 8pm
and costs a mere $44, a small price to pay for a chance at fame,
glory and prizes!
